Why We Needed to Build from Scratch

Most agricultural AI tools retrofit consumer AI onto farming problems. VitaSynora was built ground-up for the unique requirements of smallholder agriculture in emerging markets — irregular sensor connectivity, low-bandwidth environments, massive variability in soil, weather, and crop types, and the absolute intolerance for false negatives that could destroy a family's income. Our architecture is different by design.

We use AWS to host backend APIs, store user and product data securely, run AI workflows, manage authentication, deploy scalable databases, serve frontend assets, monitor performance, and support future machine learning features through Amazon Bedrock and related AWS AI services.
